If you are an admin and would like to reset a user's password in Moodle, please follow the steps below.
Steps:
- In the Administration block, navigate to Site administration > Users > Accounts > Browse list of users.
- From the list of accounts, find the account you would like to change and click the settings button under Edit.
- Under the "New password" field, enter in your desired password.
Note: To avoid making mistakes, you can click "Unmask" next to "New password". This allows you to see the password you are typing in.
- Click the "Update profile" button at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes.
